just hoping some 1 can help, were supposed to get up their tomorrow and wednesday
with our 16 foot tin can and noticed the winds have gone up for those days, was hoping
some 1 could explain where to fish when the winds go east at a higer speed.ive read be4
that no matter where the winds are blowing you can find calm waters at other spots in quinte.
any help is greatly appreciated..would thompsons point be fishable with the high east winds?

Best advice is take a look at a map, figure out which way east is and the winds will be coming from that direction. It also depends on where you are launching and whther or not you can reach that spot safely

so when the winds are strong from the east the reach and certain parts of
the bay should be ok? how is thompsons point in 20+ winds from the east
is it safe to be out there in those winds>? looking at the map wondering if
there is enough room coming from hay bay to allow the waves to get big at
thompsons? looking at the maps some of thompsons looks like you can hide
from the winds.

I also have a 16' boat, and 20-25/kmh winds are manageable. After that I found it to get rough. Look for an east shoreline if wind is from the east.

Good Luck
