Well had my first day off in awhile and was planning on staying around the house, but with such beautiful weather decided to take the kids and my father for a boat ride. Here are a few pictures.

Great to see the young family members are also getting to enjoy your new boat Scott.

Always great getting out on the water with family - had my brother & nephew up from Windsor area last week. Now Erie-Eyes goes into winter storage- end of another good year.

We did get some lines wet, but no fish worthy of a picture. My son jigged up a perch that he was very proud of. I wanted to get them a decent eye but it's tough fishing with those little guys, they bounce all over the boat and stress me out. Lol. Great fishing buddies, my middle boy asked me lastnight at bed time how old he had to be to come on charters with me. Can't wait until they are first mates.

Scott when your sons work as first mates with you, those will be the days that you will remember all your life. My son Jeremy worked with me for 5 years, from age 10 to 15 as first mate when I chartered. He was not only a great angler but he entertained the customers with fishing stories and many, many jokes. Took a lot of pressure off me.

The fishing stories were excellent as by age 6 his walleye PB was 12.5 and his PB northern was 15 lb.

You will have a lot of fun and really enjoy it.
Later
Al

I enjoy anytime I can spend with my Dad out in the boat...your kids are very fortunate to have a father that takes them out and by the smiles, it's Priceless!

If I had known you offered colouring books Scott...I'd have booked for the walleye school. :)

Cheers

Hey Scott, great kids you have and they sure looked happy in the pictures. Maybe since your son was so good a jigging up a perch he'll get you on the hard water jigging for some "Eyes".
