Tackle Box

Any suggestions on a tackle box to hold crank baits? I have maybe 20 or so larger cranks for the late fall fish and am having trouble finding something (other than what looks like a suitcase!) to hold all of my cranks in one box. I was hoping to find something that isn't top heavy - always falling over in the boat - and not too large with mostly all large slots for cranks. Any suggestions or creative solutions? Thanks guys! Gearing up for a November trip

Why not just get one of the bag style with multiple trays. You can set up each tray to carry whatever you like, cranks, worm harnesses, bottom bouncers whatever! I use one solely for grubs, another for jig head styles.

Nice thing is, if you know you're only going to be using crankbaits for the day, just take the one tray with you instead of the whole box.

Works for me!

Thanks! I will have a look at that style. I find most of the traditional boxes tough to fit many of the larger cranks in - unless you go for a really large box.

I use the tray boxes exclusively for all my cranks and spinners and hooks. Take only the tray(s) you need and leave the rest behind. No need for the panfish jigs or musky if your fishing bass or cranks for ice fishing etc..

Wal- Mart seems to usually have the best deals, or wait for the Bass Pro outdoor store to open north of Toronto and get a deal. Good luck rpaling.

Got my Bass Pro shot supplement in the Outdoor mag today in the mail. They are on sched and will be opening Nov.04.......Can't wait for the tour...
