Just got off Moira Lake 8" of strong ice, top 1" white and 7.5" of black on west side of hwy 62 ATV's everywhere .

Got two and had three soft hits probaly perch because the two eyes hit hard on bucktails. Right off the point that you can see on the left from hwy 62.

Are there Crappie in Moira Lake?

I drive bye the culvert in the spring and wonder if Crappie run there.

wonder what the ice will be like on Moria in the morning? thinking of heading back. As I look out my living room wondow the bay in my back yard is not looking good

says it will be -2 there tonight so if everyone is correct that the lake has 5"-6" as of this morning I would think be fine

was at moira lake this evening there was still lots of ice but the water was running into the holes really fast.didnt catch anything maybe another day. tight lines everybody

Yeah still good ice and after last night its gonna be back to a 8" thick skating rink :-)
