I was out on Monday for the afternoon with my father-inlaw Leon and did very well. We caught and released about 30 LM bass. Most of the fish averaged 2 lbs but there were a more than a few 3 lbers mixed in. The biggest was a true 5 lber caught by Leon.
Almost all of the fish came on tubes with a few coming on a rattle spot. I was rigging the tube texas style with no weight on a 4 inch shad color tube with a 4/0 extra wide gap hook on a spinning rig with 8 lb test line.
Leon was fishing a black tube with silver flake with a 1/4oz. jig inserted in the tube. The fish didn't seem to care what color. The structure was a small point with a shallow weed flat on one side and a quick drop off on the point.

Ken & Jo

I was fishing Belleville. However, I am sure similar spots can be patterened in the areas you mentioned. A point adjacent to weedy shallow water droping off quickly.

We only caught dinks in that area. Pete Boman tried it out too but left not too long after he got there.
