Haven't been fishing or posting for awhile.Forgot my username and password.lol Only fish Quinte in the winter...boat's too small!Anyhow was thinking of heading down this weekend 3 hr drive with the wife ,I usually fish around Deseronto and was wondering if anyone has any info on Ice conditions,or if anyone can suggest a location of safe ice?thanks in advance...My teachers alway's said there in no such thing as a stupid question, and I hope I don't get into trouble so here goes.Hypothetically speaking,of course If I have my quad parked outside my hut and am planing to sleep overnight (done it before)and have washroom facilities and so on.will I lose my drivers licence if there is alcohol present? Now I don't condone drinking and driving but I must say, I like beer very much,if you know what I'm saying.lol Good luck this year everyone....

If you have all the requirements needed for your hut to be considered a residence (cooking, sleeping and bathroom facilities) there shouldn't be a problem, but don't be surprised if they keep an eye on you to make sure you're not just blowing smoke.
I've built a new hut this year just for this purpose, because I enjoy beer myself. If I know I'm not staying in the hut I will have a buddy drive me out in his argo, so that common sense isn't impaired too. LOL
The best part is I have a trailer on his property too that I stay in when unable to drive.

P.S. An officer at my hut told me last year that chairs and the floor are not considered sleeping quarters.
