Took the Boss out in the afternoon and we managed to get 5 nice eaters. She got her first hardwater walleye of the season and cant wait to go again. I lost a big pig in the hole on a Tip-Up. I forgot my soft gaff and i could not get her through the hole and would up losing her but i would have released her anyway but would have been nice to get a quick pic and a kiss before letting her go...All fish started to turn on at 4:45 until 5:45...

Walleye Hunter 2. Please send $ 49.95 to complete your application for information. LoL just kidding dude...

1/2 ounce Champ, Buckshots, Jigging Raps all working good right now. Might want to look around Big Bay for spots....Point Ann, etc, etc, etc...But know what you are doing before you go out. Don't go alone, Take a rope, Floater suit, Spud your way.

Good job Fred, glad you got out this week before the warm temps hit. Not going to be toooo safe this weekend. Got up this morning and look out over West Lake and there is an inch of water all over the ice. When the wind gets up to the 25 klicks forecasted, it will start some heavy erosion. Think I'll go way up north this weekend.

Al

Yea this weather has been up and down like a hot air balloon. I am hoping the night's drop down and help keep the ice from eroding to bad. It wont be good if it gets some water on top mixed with high wind. I am starting to get all teary eyed just thinking about it.
