very true golf pro it was the peoples tax paying dollars that built that road and the people on the road seem to think they own it and can put up no parking signs, i think they should stop plowing it if they want to make it a private road, same thing with the quick short road you drive down there and its nothing but no parking signs, thats just wrong on so many levles it would be like a person going out in front of there house and putting a no parking sign up on the street...... something should be done about this, parking should be pervided, and no tickets should be handed out unless its an official no parking sign placed there by the city or town...... the people who wanna clame property by putting up a sign should get a ticket for claim jumping lol . times are hard better to permote buisness than to drive buisness away!

I agree with the last few comments and being an out of towner I just down get it. You would thing the township/town/whoever would want to promote ice fishing and tourism, especially in the winter, but I guess not.

Since I am still relatively new to the quinte game, I don't know that many access point/places to park on the bay .... and that is one of the things I think about on my 3 hour drive to Quinte, will there be anywhere to park when I get to the bay, will I get ticketed? towed? Does anyone know do have they ever towed any vehicles parked on the side of the road at Huff's or anywhere else. Or do they just ticket. I couldn't imagine cominh off the ice and finding my vehicle gone.

Hope to be down on the ice soon.

Be safe.

Sad to say Jim W it has happend in the past, but I myself have not heard of any towings lately, tickets yes. Your best bet to be safe from all this bull S is to park at the boat ramps on Haybay( north and south shore, Deseronto boat ramp, etc.
