Just a curiosity to ask will the strong current bring someone down the ice even with the floatation jacket and pants on?

Thanks in advance!

I have fallen through. It isn't a whole lot of fun.My legs floated to the top and my buddy pulled me out with the help of my sleigh that had a long rope. You guys that are looking for a cheap flotation suit, had better re evaluate your lives. Would you put $50 tires on an Indy car and expect it to do well. Happy fishing everyone.

I haven't fallen through but this is only my second season of ice fishing and will be my first on the bay. I didn't spare the expense and went with a Mustang suit. I am getting married in August and could probably have used the money for that but there won't be a wedding if I sink on the Bay...$500 is EASILY worth it if it means I have a better shot at making out IF I go through.

Be safe everyone.
