Well the challenge is being made , Grizz , Dave ,Spider and myself are officially challenging the young Pups :lol:

, Aadil ,Jason, Spox and Dan to the great thin ice fish off , basic rules apply if you go through you lose two points ,if we have to help you 4 points , stealing minnows 5 points , yelling fish-on and losing it 10 points

, if you get a parking ticket 20 points

,looking forward to seeing you guys tomorrow ,

Just a note to all the ice is not real good so fish at your own risk and take a rope !

Well listen trophy, I have been putting Grizz in his place last 2 outings fishing blind so it doesnt seem like fair teams bascially just you and spider against us youngins. Sounds fun better bring your A game and us well bring our B game and still win

I have to admit we got smoked today

3-2 Dan and Jason 1 apiece and with Matt taking top honors for the juniors with a 12 +,I thought we had you guys on the run when FishinFanatic scored in the first 10 minutes, then you came on strong, I think we being the senior you know and wiser we should have first round draft pick ,

and we decide to take the Prince in the first round :lol:

Great day glad to see all you guys out , I wouldn't recommend fishing Huff's till after we get a good freeze , I think the win will go under protest , even with Spider falling in a hole was only two points cause nobody helped him get up :twisted:

What a fantastic sunset at big island , Pics will follow Al we needed you !

what a great time it was boys. sorry to let everyone down............ im beginning to think at the end of last year when i beat landshark so badly he poured a forgin substance on my lures lol. they will call fish lile nobodys buisness, but thats it, fish just will not bite lol,
what a cool pick out on Big Bay eh. all the guys look like they are standing on water.
Prince joined us late in the game, walked out fresh from work sat down and ran a quinte prince clinic and landed 2 eyes and lost another in about 15 minutes....... Jason got so pissed he packed up his toys and stomped off the ice lol. JAson took the lead in the morning, first on the ice like the pro he is, and then he was firt off the ice totally discusted mumbeling something about Big Bay and how stupid it is here and how there is no fishon big bay yadda yadda yadda ... as prince sits down 30 feet from his and says ill show you there is fish ...... AND HE DID!
........ again thanks guys what a blast it was, and i have come to the conclusion I JUST SUCK AT FISHING!

My my my.....where to start.
I think my decesion to let spox ride inside the cab of my truck rather then the box where we usually put him was my biggest mistake of the day. My second was informing Grizz that the meeting spot at springside park was up top not down bellow in lovers lane. This was the hex that would later turn into my demise. Lol.
All and all it really was a fun time. I should have made more of an effort to chat things up with everyone but when I'm ice fishing I'm focused and I know I can't give any slack to quinte prince or all hell will break loose......and so it did!!!!!
Good job buddy putting on the old school clinic. I truly think there is a down fall to the electronics when the bite gets tough in shallow water.
After taking the day off and loosing out on overtime along with fuel and a stop at timmies I figured my fish is worth $329 per pound. In other words. $329 because that's all the little sucker weighed. Lol.
Once again good to see everyone and spox be sure to dress warm cause your riding in the box for now on!!!!!

Here we go,

Quinte Princess I do have to give you credit. Even though you did sit for a total of 25 minutes and catch 2 fish fishing blind. Good job. Second, Jason you might want to change your name on here to "God dam these walleye are exspesive" lmao. I don't think anyone who catches a .7lb eye should be saying anything. Grizz, awsome day buddy!! To bad we had to listen to Jason and Aadil cause that was a litlle sickening, and hard to swallow. We'll get revenge when we get ice again. And don't listen to Jason about the lovers lane he's just mad you didn't invite him with you to sit and watch the sunrise by the falls in springside lol.

Trophy Hunter...It's to bad I didn't get to chat a little more with you, but I was busy trying to ice an eye and get these guys off my back...didn't happen.

So to sum up...

Now I have to listen to Jason and Aadil for a few more days until we get ice back blah blah blah whaaa whaaa whaaa.

All in all a great day out there minus the fish not cooperating but that's why they call it fishing and not catching, had a blast hope to do it soon...if we ever get our ice back.

Dave (FishinFanatic) Keith (Spider) and myself only managed to hook and land two eye,s and about 1/2 a dozen perch , but one of the interesting things we seen was a whitefish take my minnow right up to the curl of the hook but it wouldn't suck it in , the new camera is a blast we seen lots of eye's swimming into the current all of them going the same way , you could turn the camera and keep it right on the fish you were working , It's funny how many fish are there and they just completely ignore your baits

, Once we get some ice again i want to try to make some video, We will do this again when we get some ice

Well it was a good day on the ice with some new and old friends and i was able to put some faces to names on the board. The weather was nice but fish didnt cooperate. But at least i didnt have a skunk smell following me around lol
