It all started when I got a PM from Walleyechaser asking if I would like to go duck hunting at the Reach on Friday. Unfortunateley I was suffering from the work flu. But I realized the only cure was to go duck hunting. After a bit of figuring things out, we met up and headed out. We set up the decoys on the shore and sat down with a cup of coffee waiting for first light. As nice as it was with open water as far as we could see, there just weren't a lot of ducks in the skies. We did manage a few whistlers here and there and had a ride around in the boat.

But with my work flu cured, we called it a day. I really enjoyed meeting Walleyechaser and trading stories.

Thanks for a great day Jeff, hopefully we can do it again.

Right on fellas, Sounds like a great way to end the season. Amazing that we still have open water in areas. Good shooting!
