Quinte Fishing

Well,

I wasn't having the greatest luck this week (vehicle troubles, dead mouse somewhere in my basement ) soI decided to cancel my trip to Quinte for some trolling. I took my van into Canadian Tire to get a tire fixed today.

While I was waiting .... of course took a walk over to the fishing department and one do I see ..... a Frabill 2 Man Fill-over hut, Adventurer model..... on clearance for $180 regular $350 I believe. Only one floor model left.

It is a basic shelter with two camp chairs, instead of attached seats, but nice and roomy, especially since I would mainly be fishing from it most o the time myself.

Well I thought about it for ... a second ....and bought it!

Now I just need to get a travel cover and I think I will try torig up some sort of fixed seat using a folding boat seat.

Anyone ever install a seat in a shelter that didn't have a seat?

No fishing this weekend, but a good catch!

thats a sweet deal, I have 2 clams and I would have bought that just to re sell it at that price!!

My one man clam has a heavy boat type folding seat i dont really like, so i usually just use a milk crate or a folding chair i have sat in those ball buster seats that come with that frabill shack not too comfy!!

i would either rig up a bench seat using 2 milk crates or get 2 folding chairs!! the milk crates double as storage, but the chairs take up very little space!!

either way thats a sweet deal!!!!!!

I am looking to get a thermal one man flip when i am out by myself because my Clam Thermal X is to big for just one guy and i thought it would be nice to have a second hut but i cant seem to find a deal on a 1 man thermal. I would think with the way the Ice season has been they would drop more in price to clear them but i guess i am dreaming. All you need to do now is get her out and give it a try. Good Luck.... Fred
