Laker John, my Dad and myself felt with the nice weather we should take a tour of the North Channel and Adolphus Reach to see what we could see....................

First stop was Finkles in Bath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the Ramp:

That's four trailer, ergo four boats out on the water... What a beautiful day, a little west-south west wind, some rollers but no whitecaps.

Headed west along 133 towards the ferry, but never made it that far, checked the ice and we could see solid ice from the north shore all the way over to Keith Shoal. Headed east along Bayside and we saw the four boats fishing east of the lighthouse. Bits and pieces of ice floating and lots of frazzle type ice along the shoreline withthe geese swimming it it.

Looks like we're gonna get the tinny tomorrow and have a go.

Stay Tuned.

Hey Superdad

Nice report! Your deduction of four trailers means four boats was pretty funny!

Looks like the soft water lobby may be winning in the short run. Next week's forecast is going to be much of the same as today. There's a good chance that more fishable water may open up in the coming days especially with a high of 6C for Wednesday. Unbelievable!

Here's hoping that the fast melt makes anyone thinking of risking it no opportunity to venture out there.

Great pictures Superdad, gotta love that open water. Just wish I hadn't put my boat away. Any reports from the 4 boats out yesterday?
