Quinte Fishing

Well, They do haveto tell people to stay off the ice because look at Simcoe, theres no safe ice to walk on anywhere on the lake. There were 4 people fishing out of keswick and the cops got them off the ice because its unsafe and there open water another 300 yards from them. I got a feeling the main lake isn't going to freeze, especially since there still open water on the perch grounds. But if the main lake doesn't freeze and no one fishes because of unsafe ice, then theres going to be way more whiteys and lakers because at least thousands for sure, whiteys and lakers combine are taken from people. Its going to be a good spring I think for lakers and whiteys on Simcoe.

I was on Scugog yesterday... and the ice conditions were pretty decent where I was... no less than 6" of solid black ice.
