Hey guys. I have been out and about checking the Ice and the good news is i don't see allot of thawing today but i also don't see any Ice building and after this little rain we a supposed to get it may pooch it or depending on the night time lows it might help it. Who Knows... This one time at Band Camp I made a net out of Duck Tape and got 5 eyes out my hole. Ha Ha Ha Ha

I really think its going to be fine by Sunday. I skated on a pond on Fish lake that had four inches on Sunday afternoon and I set my minnow trap at another pond in the County and there was three inches there on Monday...i don't know that we've lost a ton of ice on the bay since then and I'm thinking we are getting snow over the next few days, not rain. That's by the the weather network forecast anyway... I think by Sunday at the earliest and Monday by the latest, we will be back out there....Here's hoping!

Yea the bay is open from the Marina out past the Ferry. Ice is broke up along the shore line a bit and it looks like about 3' of ice beyond that but i did not get wet feet trying to get out and check. Also a few sink holes but they have iced up some. I could watch the Ice expanding around the McFarland shore so with the wind chill today it is making some ice. The next three days will be the tell all....
