Hey bud,

Long lake has Walleyes. Should be good for ice fishing in 10-15 ft of water early morning or evening. It would be a good lake to try ice fishing if you have access.

Another lake that is close to Long, is Eagle Lake. It is best known for it's White fish during the winter.

Good Luck,

As Batman says good lake for Walleye , there is access from the road which runs along the side of the lake , very stained water , yellow is a hot colour winter or summer , fished it years ago ,still produces decent catches in 12-16 fow , no hogs but avg 2-4 lbs , it is a small lake so be wise on how many fish you take out of it :D

At Long Lake, (Parham), there's a rock shoal out to the left in the main bay by the island with an edge that runs a long way in back towards the main shore that drops from 7' to 15' or so that is really good for summer bass and winter eyes. As mentioned, the eyes are not huge, (so far LOL), but big enough to stink the pan and clean eating! :)

It apparently just froze over late last week too, so be careful it may not have as much ice as some other lakes in the same area... Spud, Spud, Spud

Can anyone give me some information on some cabins/cottages on Long Lake in Parham?
I can only find one and we need another for a week in June/July.

Hopefully someone can direct me in the right direction.

You can also email me some info at tjm1213@aol.com
