good read, thanks David. IMO its like anything else, there is no guarantee its going to work in any condition and there are still limits on catches daily. My argument has always been one that it shouldnt matter how many lines or hooks you use because at the end of the day your're only allowed to keep your limit.

Id like to troll one of those with a some spinners taking up the 5th "arm" to make it legal here. Think it would be cool to drag one of those in picton bay early december and see what you get from it!

There Is also One called the "UMBRELLA RIG" It is larger which helps keep your baits spread further.
You also have more options to use different Baits without hooks as teasers.


I have not caught anything YET, with one.

But have been told they are good for lakers and white fish.

this is a 4 piece, they come in different models with more arms for more teasers.

If anyone does use these I would like to hear reports of them.

I pulled it out one day on a boat and got some Weird looks....

Alabama Rig has been banned from Bassmaster Classic and Elite Series effective Feb,1 I believe. Along with the picture above of the Umbrella Rig.
