Solo trip to Quinte as my son backed out in favour of a stay on Howe Island. Worked 40-45 ft depth 2 miles east of cement plant and managed to land 6 fish and lost 2. No weights but dimensions as follows 30x19; 30x17; 29x17; 28x17; 26x18 and 24x18. All back in the swim. Thanks to the guy that helped me trailer by boat at McFarland's. All fishon a variety of deep diving Husky Jerks either flatlining or with in line planer boards 150-200 feet back and trolling against the wind except for one. Plenty of fish marked. Not sure how other anglers were doing as lots of movement going on. Mitch

Mitch thx for the post and CONGRATS on the catch. After I left McFarlands with the boat on the trailer crooked, I was able to refloat it at the Picton launch and get it on staright. That MacFarlands launch is tough with the big drop off at the end of the cement pour but Picton was so crowded yesterday there was no place to park. Also the buildup of gravel by the wharf base at McFarlands keeps one from trying to angle the trailer in to miss the drop off. And of course if you have a strong cross wind like yesterday it is virtually impossible to get the boat back on the trailer properly. You are welcome on the assist.

Barry
