can you get in to if you was to park a truck camper in the parking lot at the boat ramp in picton for one nite cant find anybody that is open for campers this time of year in the picton area. anybody know of a place.any help would realy help.thanks in advance.

I can't recall if there's a sign that discourages overnight camping at the PIcton Ramp. I know several other ramps off Hay Bay have signs that preclude overnight camping.

Perhaps some others who use the Picton Ramp more often will reply.

Personally I would vote in favour of leaving the small available area for parking of vehicles/boat trailors rather than taking up space with campers. When you see how congested it was on the weekend with folk having to park their rigs up the hill on the street, it is time Picton did something to enlarge the parking area. The private property beside the launch was open a couple of years ago and that was just great.......
