Well if your trolling the harbour you'll be fine longlining I would guess. That's all I used to do for years at Picton and always did fairly well. The boards can be helpful but, I'm thinking you might find it crowded if you stay too close in the Bay area.
Your electric motor should provide just the right speed as well. As far as baits, the Clown Rapala should be fine as well but, Rebel fast tracks have proven successful in the area as well. If you venture out to a little deeper water, some deep diving lures might be the order of the day. Mann's +20's or more and tail dancers, Wallie Minnows as well.
