Hoping to get out tomorrow for the first time this season

I have 2 places in mind. Big Island straight out from the Farms park/pay lot. Or Huffs.

Anyone have there ATVs out in either location today? Any info on ice conditons would be great.

Thanks guys.

Out off big island towards big bay I seen a few here and there yesterday, I have an atv myself...dread the walking but there is not enouhg ice for me to take mine yet. its all about comfort level and what YOU are comfortable taking it out on. 5-7 where I was and not all black ice...a lot of mixed ice.
Hope that helps.

Seen a quad today go right up the middle of huffs. We were fishn on the other side of huffs an he came rite by us an we were on 3 to 4 inchs. A guy in another hut waved him down an suggested he get out of the area. It tuck 1 good hit in some areas out there with the spud an it go rite threw. Couldn't believe that guy even attempted to drive rite across an I didn't see them checkn at all.

Out in the middle of big bay half way across to big island there are three different huts with a foot of ice. Four wheelers and snowmobiles crossing big bay over to big from point anne launch

Wow deffinetly a big difference then. I know I heard lots of good reports before I left of thick ice in areas an that's why I was surprised how thin it was where we were. There was 2 other vehicles where we parked an the one guy had the quad sittn in the trailer still so glad he was smart enuf to check 1st unlike that other guy. When I seen the quad sittn there I deffinetly had spud in hand checkn as we go. I knew there's good current there before I went an now I see the difference if most people around the bay are reporting 8 inchs
