Hey Charlie, the Wellington side of West Lake has some ice. Probably 4 to 5 inches now in places. Yesterday there was an area of open water just West of the Ceramet plant. I was out Sunday with just a chisel and there was about 3 to 4 inches. I saw a couple of guys out part way Sunday morning but they only went out a few hundred yards.

If you go out take a spud and be careful.

Al

A few days ago on the south side, it was open from the island all the way over to the other side.

Some guys were out on West Lake on the weekend. 12 inches of ice in places and 10 feet away 5 inches. There are still open spots towards Wellington. One has to be very careful and pick your way out.
