Hello all,

just a quick note for anyone needing 2 spots for the Merland Park get together weekend. I need to cancel my 2 spots due to a medical emergency for Joanne (back surgery) and will most likely be unable to attend that weekend. I have 2 spots available for the $100 per person package. It's at the Laver's mother in-laws place. Please let me know before Friday so that I can avoid the cancellation fee.

thanks
Ken

Sorry to hear of your situation Ken. Trust all will go well with Joanne. Missing a Merlands get together not that important when faced with family health matters. Trust me, I know.....

Ken,
I hope all goes well with Jo and the back surgery. Really disappointed you wont be able to join us at the get together. I have really enjoyed reading your posts and looked forward to putting the name to the face. I hope Jo is not in too much discomfort and I wish her a speedy recovery. Please let us all know how it goes. Best of luck and lets try to get out before the hard water.
Dan

Thanks for the well wishes everybody. Jo's back surgery seemed to go well. Unfortunately, I STILL haven't been able to get a straight answer from anybody as I still haven't had a chance to speak to the surgeon. In any case, Jo says she is feeling much better. Then again, it may be that Morphine machine they have her hooked up too  I MAY be able to come down depending on how she feels and if her daughter is able to take care of her. At least I have my priorities straight eh? She says she'd feel REAL guilty if I missed any fall fishing, seeing as I STILL haven't had a double digit 'eye this year  Anyways, thanks again guys and gals and I may still be able to get out for a fish before the hard water.

cheers
Ken

Ken, it looks like myself and BigO lost our spots too. I called Merlands yesterday and although we were given aproval to crash in your cabin, it was forgotten when you cancelled and that cabin is now full.

We looking at trying to find other accomodations. Won't be the same though. Looks like we'll be missing the get together too.

I will try to slide by and say hi to everyone.

Sorry to hear that Markus. My understanding was that you guys had made your own reservations. I had only asked them to cancel the 2 spots that I had requested and didn't think that it would have affected your 2. Sorry for the inconvenience.

NP Ken...it was a conversation that was missed between meand Kevin, nothing to do something you missed. We're stillplanning on fishing that weekend, we're just sorting out accomodations.

I think we may be joining up with another group of guys.
