Just got back from Belleville and going over the bridge there is plenty of open water on both sides. Cow island side is open quite a bit and you could see lots of water at Mass Point. I seen 1 hut out by Potters but not to far from shore and it was gone when i came back across at 2:00pm. The whole Peat's Point area looked pretty white so I would question the Ice there. We are going to need a cold snap to tighten things back up so if you go Be very careful. Take a buddy, Heaving Rope, Spud, Floater Suit, Picks etc etc... Please be careful, we don't need anyone else going for a dip....
