A bunch of us are heading to Picton next Wednesday and Thursday. l have just purchased the new Rapala Deep Taildancer (TDD-11) and was wondering if anyone has tried these new lures for walleye? I have had good luck last year with Mann's +20, and Fast Trac's, but these new lures look pretty good. Any information would be appreciated.

I used the perch one 150 ft back from a board two weeks ago and nailed a 10.7 at Thompson's. Didn't have it on for long so don't know if it will be a consistent lure, will try it again this weekend. Good luck.

Last time I was looking for the no 9 Taildancers, I found em at Baron Sports on Notre Dame in MOntreal.

The no 11's are available at Gander Mtn in USA(Watertown)

Jimbo - I have a couple of extras that I would be willing to part with if you can't find any before you head down...think Kevin has some too.

Awsome Oldprincecraft. I live so far away from everything up here it's
hard to find anything but snow and blackflies ( and strippers).

I plan on being down next Friday and on the water for early afternoon.
I am heading down with my buddy Scott who picked a new boat this year so I am riding once again in style. Not sure of the make. It looks similiar to a Boston Whaler (center con.) and has a 90 Johnson on the back.
White on white. There will also be a noticible and consitent plume of smoke coming from the area of the center console...lol...

We've got the Pickeral Palace are you next door again?

Think we're next door and up on the hill same as last year. 14 in total this year....I may need to sleep beside the bonfire.

Heading up tomorrow for the week - a couple of days of Muskie fishing, then down to the bay for a pre-fish, back up to the cottage for some more muskie then back down for the week-end. Don't have internet access at the cottage so I won't be able to update.

See you next week... bring me a cookie ;)

Jimbo, pity you can't get to Bass Pro Shops, in Vaughan,, once you clear the tears out of your eyes, you'll find everything you ever wanted. 8O

De-Prop nice to hear from you man! I sure am pumped for next Friday.
I heard Bass Pro was awesome, if your into shuttle busses.
I spent some time in one down Florida way last Christmas, and brother
let me tell ya, I picked up a secret bait that should put me over the top and on to the 1st placet podium this year. This thing will make a Manns lood like a childs toy! heh heh heh oh ya baby!

Old Princecraft have a great time musky fishing, I look forward to hearing all about it! And save me some of those tail dancers!

Ron I honestly don't remember you but I am looking forward to getting re-aquainted really soon.

Time to bake my cookies!

Hello all,
I just got back from Quinte Outdoor Sports and, as luck would have it, they are stocking the TDD 11. I was there at ~ 11:00 this morning and they had 3 left @ 10.99 a piece by the time I left (all were a faint perch pattern). A little pricier than BPS in Vaughan, but a whole lot closer for Quinte guys like myself... and it's great to support the local business . The owner said he's having trouble keeping them in stock, but has ordered about a dozen more --- said to call @ 613-967-6600 to check on stock before headin' down there.
Hope this helps,
Hopps
