I'd suggest 25-35'. I say that as most of the fish we've been catching have been in that range. And I don't mean just my boat. MAny of my friends have been up as well and are getting them in that range.
I have also been adding on occassion, a couple of bullet sinkers about 20-25 ft in front of my deep diver's to get them a tad lower. I'm guessing this gets them to the 35' range +/- 5ft. A tip which has proven successful.
I don't think you need to go much lower at this point in time!
I haven't run riggers in a few weeks, as I feel there's no need too. Most fish we were getting off riggers, were Sheepsheads anyway!
