Quinte Fishing

~~ This weekend there is a fleet of boats (3) coming down there from AnglersOntario Web Page for our first BOQ Anual Fishing Trip and we will need room to fish. You will have in your midst THE GREAT "ISLAND JAY From Gorgan bay "LURCH" stay on his good side "STINGER" fast on the hook set "VISONBOY" who has vison of a 18lb Walleye replica on his wall "WALLEYEDREAMER" who believes if it's not a walleye it's not worth catching and me "OLDPHART" stay well up wind. We will be down there for two days staying at Merlans' Lodge and hope to meet some of you regulars for some wobblely pop and some BS

The fishing certainly didn't turn out to what we were hoping for, but I'd be sure to make more future attempts. I can't wait to catch my first 2 digit Quinte Eye in the near future.

Merland Park was packed this past weekend, but everyone was cool, and Kevin's staff kept the traffic moving. the cottages were nice and clean.

To be in good company of the Anglersontario gang and enjoying good a time was what counted, and catching a fish is a bonus.
All in all, it was a great weekend.
