Just wondering if the PIcton (Ferry) would be a good place to launch at this time of year. Also, where would the closest boat launch would be to Sherman's Point. Perfect Vu? Is that still open?

Thank you.

Al you can launch at the ferry. Just remember it can get rough in that area when it starts to blow. The closest ramp to shermans Is the public launch ramp just west of perfect vu. The dock has been removed for the season but the ramp is useable. It's best if you have 2 people to launch your boat here at this time of the season.
Just remember if it has snowed or is icy don'' t use the public ramp it can get trecherous.
Perfect vu is open for some time yet.

Hi Al
Take the second exit for napanee[highway 41]. Head south through town past the golf course. At the yellow flashing light [6 km.]turn right[north shore road-county #9]. Stay on this road past the huge farm[Kaiser's] on the right, about14 km. Just past the farm the road turns to the right, take the next left hand turn. Follow the road to the end and turn left to the launch ramp....Enjoy!...Larry
