Well Belleville Canadian Tire finally figured out how to sell a gun without the registration and the let me bring the gun, which I bought on Saturday, home tonight. I let the young lad take the first shot and it woke up with a mighty roar. At a hundred yards it was grouping 4 inches low and an inch and a half to the right. After 16 clicks up and 6 left on the scope it was dead center of the bulls eye...a couple times between 30km/hr wind gusts. We managed to fire off 16 shots before we had to run for cover from the rain but what a blast! Between this and his new .223 we will be putting a dent in the Yote problem we have in our area.

Congrats on the rifle, hope you and your son build many happy memories in the field. Stay safe and shoot straight.

Happiness is a new gun, bliss is two new guns. Glad everything worked out for you guys. You won't regret those calibers. At least until you want to go Grizzly bear hunting...

Have fun with them and don't forget to watch your backstops.

Best caliber you can buy IMO. I use mine for moose, deer, caribou, and yotes
