It was great to get out and experience this great fishery this year for the first time. Thanks to all that provided info to help me get onto the fish. :D

Nice fish
People get spoiled at quinte, big fish should not be that easy!
Dont want to be a spoil sport but the 32.5 is not 14.5lbs...had this arguement before on the board. It lessens truly great fish.
Its a solid 12.5 tho!
the giant grunt is an awesome sheephead! Hey give sheepheads credit people, how many time have you thought you had King Kog walleye only to be dissapointed with the grunt...In love mutton

Hey Bulldog....I don't want to carry on a debate so maybe coming from me it will hopefully put your assumption to rest. I was there when that picture was taken and as much as I would like to say that my fish was bigger than big-o's :P ......it wasn't.
I never saw it on the scales but I saw Johns and mine on the scales weighing in at 11.8 and 12.0 and believe me Big-O had us beat by at least a couple of pounds. This fish was longer, thicker through the back and much fatter.

As far as sheepshead are concerned I haven't had the pleasure of picking one up yet but hear they are a blast......Maybe I'll go sheepshead fishing and pick up an incidental walleye. :)

Hi Bulldog

I knew when I posted the pic....that I would get a few saying the wieght was wrong :( ...., the picture dose not do that fish any justice at all, it was wieght on a realy good spring type scale...we did it twice to make sure... but it was 14.5 LBS.....I think next year I'll take pics of the back and the belly....it's realy hard to take a picture that realy shows the ture size, For me I had four witness to confirm the wieght....not that I needed them, but for cases like this it was good to have them..... :D and your right about Drum....they are a blast to catch, great fight
here is the biggest I've caught :D

See you on the water :D

Here is another shot of big-o's fish, its being held by markus who is a big boy himself,I weighed 7 fish over 12#s to just under 13#s on the same scale this fall, non where over 31.5 inches on a board tape, this fish was thicker and longer than those 7.[img][/img]
