:P Hey HBL, I saw in a previous post from PINGI you said the conservation limit was one under 19" and one over 25". Then you went on to say the regular regs say 4 fish with one over 25". My question is, is the conservation reg just a recommendation to preserve fish#'s.

I guess my other question is, what does the actual regulation state in the Ministry's pamplet? Thanks for the time.....Fish on'.

By the way, in case you read this PINGI....Is that you Gerry? :P

The regulations are as i posted them. I took them direct from the booklet.
Once again
there is a slot size that no one can keep a fish in. That is none between 19"-25".
Conservation license- 2 fish total- one only over 25".
Regular license-4 fish total-one over 25".
The coservation license is not a reccomendation-It is THE LAW.
There is a completely different sticker that is applied to your fishing card. Also the annual fee is a reduced rate. That isn't the reason i have the conservation license. I am a catch and release fisherman.
I hope this clears up the mis-understanding...Larry

Yes Rob, I was planning to go down in a couple of weeks, but with this cold weather, next week is looking pretty good!! I know I have caught them by this time in the past years and it has not been as cold. Looking for the first posting saying that they are bitting. maybe they are and they are just keeping it to themselves?????? Tuesday may be the day. May see you guys in the harbour?

Hey Gerry, I think your onto something there. Getting posts up is worse than trying to pull teeth lately. If Frank and I don't run into you and, we manage to get out, we'll be sure to leave a post for the masses.
Take 'er easy!
