Hello,

Wondering if l could get some recommendation on where to stay the second week of May. l have fished the Bay 4 times in the spring, twice in Trenton and once each in Picton and Desaranto with not much luck. Will be taking my father in law to hopefully catch some nice eyes and pike for the first time on the Bay. I have a 17ft boat with a 90hp.

Not looking for any spots just a good place to stay and be able to go out and find some fish!

Thanks,
Nino

Lots to chose from here. Look at the advertising banners here on the board at the top of the page, on the home page and http://www.quintefishing.com/cottagerentals.htm

Thank You. Looked at some of the board sponsors and contacted a few, sold out. Got a couple to call tomorrow to see if there is room. Is it usually this busy for the first couple of weekends after the opener?
Last time we went for the opener a few years back it was like the GTA during rush hour but in boats. Saw one boat get swamped from a wake of a bass boat. Not my kind of fun.

Nor mine...fortunately working that weekend...so following week after the mayhem has abated will be my time....Having peace and relative quiet for me is more important than catching fish....well almost :)
