Just a suggestion but would it be possible to have a map on this site with good fishing spots marked for those of us that don't live in the area? I don't know how feasible this would be but I think if group members were able to login and upload pictures with locations marked... What do you think???

Might get crowed since you haven't specified a species. And you'd likely just get general areas given out since no one really gives up hot spots. Lots of Bass and Walleye and Salmon tournament fishermen and women on this site. There are maps out there which give you general ideas on where to fish for the species you're after. Best to read and follow this board on a regular basis, you'll learn tons. You can also search specific info.

this is so simple really . do what trophy hunter does. every time he finds a hot spot he puts a big red X in the bottom of his boat ........only time he gets really messed up is when the bottom of his boat fills with fish blood

If your looking for spots, this forum is great for that, spend a hour or so, and digg threw old posts, (they go back about 10 years)
key times are mid april to late may, and oct, nov.

We get these questions every year, problem about having a map like that is, many companys make and sell them. (you can walk into local fishing stores and buy them) or order them online. most of it is copy righted info.
And come opening weekend, any spot you will find on a map will have a ton of boats of them, so some of us find other spots to avoid the traffic.

When you come, spend some of your money at the local bait stores, fishing resorts etc. and they will help you out

In conjunction with the Bay of Quinte Tourist Council, all the Chambers of Commerce from Brighton to Napannee and Prince Edward County, have free fishing maps of the BOQ and Lake O. They are fairly generic but do show species and locations. Just go in a grab one. You could also call their offices and they will mail one out to you. Lots of tourist locations stock them. I've got them here in our office. Dave
