hey i was wondering if anybody knows when the walleye were in spawning or out?i dont live close but have drove up a few times to walk moira to mouth but never did time it right.i saw them spearing at night about 3 weeks ago ,well i saw them in river not spearing so not sure when they were in.please help!also anyone know what the water temp is approx? thanks cant wait for opener booooo yaaa

Walleye are done spawning, like a month ago, water was 9-11 C in the mouth of the trent today.

Its just a guess, but i would think, the top weights will be down compared to previous years, but the fishing normally gets better as water temp increases's. I think they become more active, so i would assume a normally hard to catch fish weekend, will have a good fishing.
I am not sure if all the boat traffic spook's the fish or not...

Live target lures have won this derby two years in a row, will it be three ???

thanks for the info guys much appreciate it.ya i assumed most fish will be gone least the big ones back to the lake.i would think fishing numbers will be up this year just sizes be smaller.
