Quinte Fishing

Hey, have not seen you on yet....must have not worked your way down there yet. Me....blue springbok with 60merc you see down there alot. Love to hear some reports. Myslef and my partner will be down for 5 days starting nov 16. Tight Lines!!!

Just got out on Saturday. Big fish are still a little elusive. We decided to try something that I have theorised might work. There are always a lot of small walleyes in the deep hole off Thompson's point and normally jigging gets the nod for that. Downrigger work but I hate them so we decided to try CC Shads on leadcore. Got about 20 samall ones in 4 hours on 6.5 colours of lead at 2mph in 40 to 48 ft. When all of the leaves except for the oak trees are gone, that is when it will start. I say next weekend is going to see a marked improvement. I hope so, I have clients.
