I dont seem to have luck with the eyes, so where are the pike hiding? Prefer Trenton area.
Thanks

Have never gone to trenton for pike for opener but do target them around belleville area usually seem pretty good average 3 to six lbs which was the case this year except were looking for bigger numbers of weight and couldnt find it.Does trenton have any deeper shoals with a bit of weed around 10 to12ft of water if so id try there.

If you want bigger pike, you have to go closer to Lake Ontario. Big pike (10lbs+) like cold water. Picton area and the ferry area are much better for size.

Zone 17 has pike open all season, if you go to Glen Ross, downstream of the lock there's a good spot.
Either Pioneer or McGuire lane are decent.
My buddy caught a 20" there this weekend.

Been having decent luck with pike hitting the warmer bays with weeds. Some of the bays surface temp are 10-15o above open water right now.

Did you see the report about Collins Bay?

If you are coming from Kingston it is a shorter drive than coming out to Bath.
