I have the same unit that's in the picture, and it works great. It's not a 788CI HD unit in the picture though. It's a 788c.

Very impressed with the unit.
I have a SI unit for the front and I am installing a 900 series unit on the dash.
The 788 came with the boat and was used very sparingly.

Do you find that the speed flicks from 0 to around 2 when moving at low speed?

Not sold yet... no rush as it works just fine.
the funds are to help get an upgrade to the 998 unit for the dash, old man eyes I would like the larger screen.
that's why I'm not interested in trades for rods crossbows wheel barrels ,just cash :-|
