@ jignpigman: Yes we did. And thanks for the net by the way. Never would have got that monster on the dock without it. And finally did some crappie fishing today (with the gear so you generously donated) and had good luck. Dog Lake was great and I came home with a mess of them. Now to figure out how to filet them without mangling them beyond repair.

The DL, I was slow trolling with harnesses tipped with crawlers, he bit around 8 in the evening, i was marking a fair amount of fish too, not too sure how long the wallies stay in the bay come late spring

They are there for a while late into June. Gizzard shad are in at night now so the bite slows as soon as they come in every night. We managed one 11Lber and lost one the other night. Good to here you had some luck girlfreddy with the Crappie!! You drove down from Seeley's Bay to fish collins bay dock, wow you are hardcore!! Good for you, and glad to help.
