Just wondering if there are any nice spots to fish from shore down either in or around Picton or Wellington? We have not decided where to go exactly but want to make a day of it. We are gonna take our little guy so it needs to be safe too.

Also any tips what to throw out what be great as well.

Thanks

I always see people fishing from the dock behind the lcbo in wellington.
good place for kids, and I've seen some nice bass caught.
Definatly a good spot for kids

I'm pretty sure myself and my fellow dock diehards are well aware the 3 and 4 pounders we catch every night are illegal and they are quickly returned to the water...thanks for the tip though...

Thanks everyone I think we are going to go one day this week when it's a little quieter. I am aware of the regs and unless I catch a walleye worth keeping I don't keep any fish generally. I am hoping the little guy can either catch or at least see something bigger than the pan fish we have been catching here in Belleville from shore and just looking to go somewhere a little different.

Thanks again

Glenora ferry dock, has good walleye fishing at night time, (east side of the picton ferry).
Guys do diffently catch fish there, but you will need to put some time in. the old bobber and minnow or worm rig, does diffently out perform hard baits, there.

Well thanks for basically calling me a poacher
On a public internet forum!
No where in the post did he mention that
He was planning his trip before the opening
Of bass season. Assuming that he has enough
Interest in fishing to be a board member
I assumed he would be aware of the regulations!
