Ya, I guess so.... Not sure if they were all the same size, but that's gotta be 100 pounds of Lake Ontario Salmon. That's one heck of a feed!!! Probably not very healthy either.
Anyways....Enjoy!!!!!
Up to this point in time New York State and the Province of Ontario has designated Chinook and Coho salmon as a
Put, Grow, & Take Fishery. New York and Ontario stock a total of 2,340,000 chinook fry every year. It is not designated as self sustainable fishery.
How much contamination could be in a 3 year old fish. Much higher levels in 3 pound walleye and bass.
Some of the New York tournaments that I participate in supply 3 to 5 thousand pounds of salmon for the New York State food bank. Can't be all that bad for you.

I wasn't really concerned about the Salmon population in Lake Ontario, as I know it is very well stocked. (Have read about it many times on here) Just thought it was strange keeping fish of that size to eat. I always thought Salmon fishing was more for fun, or tournament, while maybe keeping the odd big one to eat. Typically people keep the smaller fish to eat, no matter what species.
Everybody knows that fish North of the 401 taste better anyways!!!
