I was witness to the weirdest display of pickerel behavior last Saturday down at the docks at Wellington – It was around noon, sunny, probably 25 degrees, we came in for a bite at the bar, and noticed a bunch of people fishing from the dock. While checking that out I noticed a large school of fish swimming around…on further inspection I noticed they were all pickerel, had to be a school of about 50+ of all different sizes… they were all under the dock and several of the boats there, it was unreal!!! – so ya I tried catching them with some live bait, but they wanted no part of that…. They were really skittish, and I didn’t get any… Can anyone explain this???

I hear that's what you told the game warden when you got caught with to many walleye ,that they were your tame fish .
