Quinte Fishing

i"m new to salmon fishing , does anybody fish the water out of bath ,amherstview or kingston looking for a place closer than port hope or wellington .

I'm not sure about that area I know they used to fish near Main Duck but that's a good run out. Fishing would be pretty slow in that area right now I think. Hopefully someone who knows the water in that area will chime in for you. Good luck out there!

Yes, there are salmon at the Main ducks, but as you said, that has died off, right now there are tons of lake trout and some brown trout. It is about 21 miles from collins bay and about 19 miles from Bath.

trolling the mouth of millhaven and kingston mills in late aug. through sept. but very small run of fish.
