I sure wish the Bassboys and their machines would be a little more considerate of the trollers. They roar by at top speed under 100 feet away from our trolling paths.

They sure can put the fish DOWN.

Just my .02 as a result of racing boats to the Big Lake at Q6.

congrats guys. you deserve it..

my 2 cents on the the other 2 comments. i dont see how this post was anything about that. hard to see a planer board at 70 mph and you take up a 100 -300 ft path with a mast and big boards. this trash could go on forever. bass boat guys could do enough crying about the trollers to
why dont we just play nice on both sides

Not sure what everyone else thinks but this has been the worst year I have seen for bass on the bay in a long time. I have no idea how these guys are catching fish but if anybody knows how tough it has been out there they would know how awesome it is for these guys to catch fish of that quality.

i think the above posts about "bass boats" goes way back to a post about "wanna know how fast my bass boat is"...what a gongshow

we are all on the water for the same reason to enjoy it. leave it at that. If your worried about heading out for a weekend of fishing, check the sites and make sure there isnt a tournament going on, save the hassel

Dont want the thread to get derailed on the issue of an anglesr driving their boat too close to others on the water. Fact is Kevin and Jamie handed those of us competiting, this past weekend, our behinds on a plate with an incredible bag on Sunday and Congrats to them.

Thanks guys. Jamie and I were pretty much awestruck ourselves. Those fish are a true testament to the fishery. On Saturday we were really happy to have almost 20lbs, but Sunday was just crazy. We got our 5th big one just before we went in. We hadn't weighed them but knew we had a huge sack. When they told us 26.40lbs we were blown away and thought that must be some kind of record for a five fish bag. The Chesterton's 24.75 on Saturday had seemed invincible. Then Matt and Steve take big fish with a 6.55. Wow, what a fishery. And you know, Neil Farlow and his partner weighed a 7lber a few days before at a CSFL event in Trenton. Other Lakes get lots of attention but our Bay of Quinte and Lake Ontario are top notch. The bass seem to be getting a little bigger every year, Thanks again for all the nice comments.
