Hey guys, was wondering if any of you guys have ever been on or heard about these two lakes. I have done a little rerearch online but came up only with rental properties and real estate. I did get some info that their is bass, pike, walleye, pan fish, etc in it. has anyone fished it in the past few years? give any type of info on the lakes? im heading there sept 1 and 2 for a weekend with som buddies. nothing serious, just a weekend away. doing a little fins and skins with the group of guys. Some are golfers, other are fisherman. i suit the fisherman role..sometimes,

if you have any info that would be great

ive fished malcom a few times in the past... nothing real recent... if i remember malcom is faily shallow most of the lake.. but really good bass fishing at night over the showls and decent waleye fishing in the evenings... my grandfather swore by using Hot'n'Tots for the eyes.. personally i liked spinners with worms..

if you go around the corner and under the road you go into green lake... i think it might be a little deeper but not sure... much the same for fishing tech. as in malcom just different scenery..

good luck
jason

Location: South Shore, Hay Bay
Spent quite a bit of time at a buddies cottage on malcom growing up.
When looking at the lake from boat launch it's sort of split in 2 by a row of islands.
Left side of lake is very shallow, mud bottom, almost nothing on bottom at all. Shoreline is decent for casting for bass. More numbers than size.
In between the 2 big islands is shallow and rocky with pencil reeds. Used to have a ton of fun catching bass on top water after dark.
Right side of the lake is deeper and has a decent weedbed right up the middle. Caught a ton of walleye trolling spinners.
There is also alot of shoreline structure that holds bass.
Been a long time since I've fished it but should still be able to get into plenty of fish.
Its a beautiful part of the country, enjoy the vacation.

sounds good guys thanks for the info. I was doin some online research and it seemed to be that the lake is petty small. but the mention of bass and walleye seemed postive.
sounds like a fun lake to fish, something different. ill see if i can pick it apart in the short time i am there

thanks for the info guys
