to rough for me this morning, tried to get out but kept pushing the boat around was no fun...... no fish either but hey such is life

Fred you are right. It as not a fun morning. When we set up it was basically flat, then the wind started. I had to go to the big engine to keep a trolling direction and speed. At times we were in 4 to 5 footers. Only managed a couple shakers and a steelie around 4 pounds.
But it was still better than cutting grass and yard work. :D :D

so basicaly from reading around on other post, the kings will be in the rivers? just trying to plan fishing till freeze up. Should i just fish walleye in the bay? or can i still find kings, browns, lakers out in the big water

The kings that are stocked and imprinted at Wellington are still out there. They won't hit the harbour until October. Browns and steelhead can be caught until December when the harbour is frozen over. Lakers close at the end of September.

And of coarse there is always the elusive walleye in the big Lake.
