Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any decent fish in Jordan Lake ? I'm referring to the Jordan Lake right off Hwy62 between Madoc and Bancroft.

I'm looking for a small northern lake that's worth the drive from Belleville without it being not too far from Belleville. Kind of an "after work "fishing kayaks are all ready on the car type of lake without too much of a drive. So far I've come up with Jordan Lake and Wolf Lake . I only tried wolf once and it wasn't bad for bass (weren't to big though ) any other lake ideas with the same type of drive in mind ?

Limerick has been good to me this summer... not sure if that fits the time frame or the size of lake your looking for. Was at Weslemekoon last weekend good fishing there also.
