Quinte Fishing

It is nice to see early ice this year and the season has started with a bang here on Quinte .The walleyes have been on the move and bite but catching and releasing alot of slot fish which is nice to see alot around the 22 inch mark but fun to catch.The baits that are working the best for me is the hopkins spoon hammered and the flyer .Ho yes can,t forget the vex my friend and the only one that does not talk back. and for ice condtions at potters creek there is around 7 to 9 inches of ice and with lots of nice walleyes to be had .

It's nice to here you are haveing fun out there.Can you tell me where potter's creek is?I like to fish at point anne and deseronto but i got no reply to my question about the ice in those areas.

Potters Creek is on highway 2, a stone throw west of loyalist wallbridge rd. Its the little park lot across from the conservation area office. Lots of parking and you should see folks on the ice.
