I'm just downloading my Hotmaps platinum chip into the PC app. As soon as it is all downloaded I will let you know if Moria is covered.

Sorry, moira lake is not in any navionics chips. I'm surprised as its a decent sized lake. I thought it would be on the hotmaps chip.

I have a Garmin Inland Lakes(Ontario) micro SD card and it has the basic contours for Moira Lake. I use it in a Garmin Handheld. Better than nothing I guess.

No I do not have Navplanner2. It is actually discontinued as well.

I used the free pc app that comes with any of the chips with freshest data. It is pretty cool. You can actually upload your chip data right onto your PC. You can then look at your chip data on the pc even if your chip is out in the boat. You can also create waypoints, routes etc and sync waypoints between your mobile app, pc, and chartplotter. Very cool for a free app. Here is a screen shot of Adolphus reach with my chip NOT in the computer. This is the Hotmaps Platinum chip, I continued zooming in to show you the detail on the chip. This is my favourite chip for quinte.

Scott, What's the name of the free PC App that comes with the chips. If it came on the included DVD, I've tossed it. Thanks, Dave

Actually Scott, I don't care if I have to purchase it. It would be great to view and edit my chip on my PC. I have the Premium.

Dave,

Go to navionics.com click on webstore I think it will ask you to download an installer, then you click "I have a chartplotter" it ask you to put the chip in. Once you do that it will ask you if you want to download the pc app. Once that is done you'll have an icon on your desktop to view you're chip data. It is very cool and FREE!!

So just to clarify, I need to purchase a Navionics sd card before I can take advantage of the free pc app?
I can't just download the app and expect it to work right? I do not use a chart plotter, i just use my garmin hand held.
