dan i wonder if this is any wat similar towhat happened in lake scugog and others a few yrs ago... then it was was almost all carp that died off, and nothing else...on scugog they were piling them high and burning the dead fish..... srange how this happens but only to a select few species of fish..... will be interesting to see and hear about the official reports... thanks for posting this..

I wonder why the majority of fish affected tend to be carp and sheephead. The article states mostly shallow water species were affected but than would not bass, panfish, mudcat and gar make up a large part of the fish affected?

Noticed a bunch of dead sheepers on Lemoines Pt rocks this weekend while out for a walk with the family. Looked like they had died in the last day or 2.
