Hello, I have never fished quinte , we will be staying at a family gathering on Adulphustown reach area for thanksgiving weekend - this is not a fishing trip - but the area looks interesting -
at this time of year is it realistic to fish from shore? we may have a canoe or kayak available for a
while depending on weather - think any bass around at that time or down deeper - or is it mostly a walleye area - appreciate any suggestions - should I bring my tackle?

thanks in advance

are you on the Picton side of adulphus reach or on the north side? I have found a few weed beds in about 10 feet of water that hold some nice bass on the North side, east of the Ferry. However if all you have is a canoe it may be dangerous to try and fish that area as it can whip up in a hurry.

All those reed beds are usually starting to heat up this time of year all you need is a spinner bait and any sort of jerk bait to fish the flat around them.Usually a lot of fun.Definatly worth bring some gear.

Thanks - I believe we are on the north side near or on bayshore rd - big walleye would be nice but Lm or Sm bass just fine - will bring a couple of rods
and assorted tackle - we generally have a family gathering somewhere every thanksgiving - often lakes in Halliburton - fishing really inconsistent
some years it snows others like last year shorts and t shirts --does the water in the reaches turn over or have more stable temperature in the fall - ?
thanks again for input
